Becoming a good doctor depends upon your dedication, your willingness to learn and higher studies. To make a successful career as a Doctor, you need to be well qualified and this starts with the MBBS program. In order to pursue MBBS program, you must have passed +2 level of examination with the following subject combination:

Physics
Chemistry
Biology
English

Before an institute considers you for admission into the MBBS program, you will need to possess a valid score of a medical entrance examination. These entrance examinations are conducted on State Level, National Level as well as by institutes offering MBBS program. Depending upon the medical college you opt to pursue the MBBS program, you will have to qualify a particular entrance examination for which you must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the +2 level.

Once you have completed MBBS Program, you will be able to practice the profession but in order to have a successful career, you must specialize in a particular area and pursue higher studies in the same as any of the following program:

Master of Surgery
Doctor of Medicine
Post-Graduate Diploma
