Structure of North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Microbiology Entrance Exam

North Maharashtra University Ph.D Microbiology Entrance Exam question paper will have 2 parts. The first part is common for all subject candidates and will consists of 50 objective type questions each carrying 2 marks which have to be answered with in 120 minutes duration. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers. The second part will comprise of subject specific questions. There will be both objective type and descriptive type questions in this part. Objective type questions will carry a total of 20 marks and descriptive type questions of 80 marks. Paper II should be answered with in 180 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed their PG in Microbiology or allied subjects with at least 50% marks (equivalent CGPA) from any recognized statutory University are eligible for the Ph.D Microbiology entrance exam. The candidates in the final year of PG programme are also eligible to apply for the same.

The hard copy accompanied with necessary enclosures and Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs 350/- in case of backward community candidates) which is drawn in favour of Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon payable at Jalgaon from any nationalized bank has to be sent to Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001 on or before the last date.
