Vananchal Gramin Bank shortly called as VGB came into existence in the year 2006 on the 30th of June with the amalgamation of Palamau Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Santhal Praganas Gramin Bank. The bank is owned by the State Bank of India, Government of Jharkhand and Government of India.

Name of the Position: Officer JMG Scale - I (Post Code No.01)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 42, which is divided as follows among the different categories

• SC – 06

• ST – 03

• OBC – 11

• General – 22

Out of these positions, 01 post is reserved for PWD candidates, which is inclusive of OC, HI and VI

Pay Scale: Pay Scale for the position of Officer JMG Scale-I is 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700. The total starting emoluments would be approximately Rs.23098 per month, which includes HRA and DA at the current rate.

Eligibility Details:

Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Officer JMG Scale – I, candidates must be degree holders in any discipline from a recognized university and preference will be given to candidates with degree in any of the fields like economics, accountancy, management, agricultural marketing & co-operation, law, forestry, information technology, horticulture, pisci culture, agricultural engineering, animal husbandry, veterinary science, and agriculture. Candidates must also be proficient in the local language and preference will be given to candidates with computer awareness and knowledge.
