Baitarani Gramya Bank came into existence in the year 1980 on the 23rd of June and the bank was established with the objective of serving the twin districts being Keonjihar and Mayrbhanj, which is dominated by rural population.

Baitarani Gramya Bank has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for the positions of Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale III), Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose).

Name of the Positions: Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale III), Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 62, which is divided as follows:

Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale III) (Post Code 01) – 2 (General)

Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale II) (Post Code 02) – 1 (General)

Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale I) (Post Code 03) – 20 (General-13, SC – 2 and OBC – 5)

Office Assistant (Multipurpose) (Post Code 04) – 39 (General – 13, OBC – 6, ST – 6 and SC - 14)

Age Requirement:

Officer Scale III - 21 - 40 years

Officer Scale II - 21 - 32 years

Officer Scale I - 18 - 28 years

Office Assistant - 18 - 28 years

Cost of Application:

Application fee of Rs.400 (including postal charges) will have to be paid by general category candidates and Rs.50 (postal charges alone) must be paid by reserved category candidates through prescribed challan formats available for each post from the website of the bank at http://baitaranigramyabank.com/

Mode of Selection:

Selection of candidates for each of the above-mentioned positions will be done based on the performance in the written test and the examination is tentatively fixed on 28th of August 2011 for the position of Office Assistant and on 21st of August 2011 for other positions. Candidates getting through the written test will be called for interview.
