Saurashtra Gramin Bank (SGB) was set up under RRB Act, 1976 by combining the three banks - JRGB, JAGB and SBGB.  The Regional Rural Bank was established according to the guidelines of the Indian Government. The mission of the bank is to financially help the Saurashtra people using encouraged human resource, advanced technology and procedures, high quality products, and outstanding customer service.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The age of the candidate must be above 18 yrs and below 28 yrs as on 01.09.2010 (Relaxable as per rules).

Qualification – Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from any recognized University. In the selection process candidates with diploma/degree in any of the areas like accountancy, economics, law, management, information technology, agriculture marketing, pisiculturure, agricultural engineering, veterinary science, animal husbandry, forestry, horticulture, agriculture, marketing, finance and banking will be given preference. Proficiency in Gujarati language is essential. Knowledge of computer is desirable.

The selection of the post is through written test and interview.
