Harcourt Butler Technological Institute is an autonomous academic institute which was established in the year 1921. The institute initially came into existence as a Government Research Institute, Cawnpore. It is one of oldest engineering college in the country and second oldest in Uttar Pradesh. The institute has the ISO 9001:2000 certification. The institute is well known as the first institute in the country which starts providing education in the Chemical Technology. Few classes of the IIT were held in canteen building of HBTI until IIT, Kanpur has its own campus.

Job Profile:

All interested as well as eligible candidates are invited to apply for the faculty posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in a premier technical institution named Harcourt Butler Technological Institute. Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criterias such as age limit, educational qualification etc.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
Posts Available: Only 6 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. 37400-67000 per month. The grade pay for this post is Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Posts Available: Only 15 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. 37400-67000 per month. The grade pay for this post is Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
Posts Available: Only 7 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. 15600-39100 per month. The grade pay for this post is Rs. 6000.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be within the age limit set for all the above specified posts. Also, candidates must have some experience in the relevant field in support of the prescribed educational qualification. Post Graduation degree is required as the educational qualification for all the three faculty posts.

Selection Process:

Only eligible or qualified candidates will be called for the personal interview session with the selection committee. The selection committee holds the responsibility of selecting best candidates on the respective posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Selection Committee can also disqualify any candidate if they find any wrong information in their applications.
