Indian Institute of Forest Management is located at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The institute is spreaded in an area of 200 acres. It is basically a education and research institution which came into existence in the year 1982. Dr. Ravindra Bihari Lal is the director of the institute. The institute was established by the Ministry of Environment and Forests. The main idea behind the establishment of the institute was to fulfill the need for managerial human resource in forest and allied sectors. The institute started its post graduate Diploma in Forest Management course in the year 1988.

Job Profile:

Indian Institute of Forest Management is making recruitment of candidates with strong academic background on the following faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. All the specified positions are available in the field of Marketing Management, Financial Management, Communication & Extension Management, Environment & Development Economics, Information Technology & Quantative Techniques and Eco System & Environment Management. 1. Recruitment of Professor:
Posts Available: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at the preceding degree in the relevant disciplines or branch. Candidates are also required to have minimum of 10 years teaching or research experience.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18400-22400 per month.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Posts Available: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at the preceding degree in the relevant disciplines or branch. Candidates are also required to have minimum of 8 years teaching or research experience.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 16400-20000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
Posts Available: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at the preceding degree in the relevant disciplines or branch. Candidates are also required to have minimum of 3 years teaching or research experience.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12000-18300 per month.

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to appear in the personal interview test that will be held on specified date for getting their enlisted in the final selected candidate’s list. Only performance of candidates in the interview test will matter at the time of making selections on the specified positions. Candidates are advised to prepare well for the interview test with the selection committee.
