The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences is an autonomous law university which came into existence in the year 1999. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences is making recruitment of eligible candidates on the following faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The follwing teaching vacancies are available in the field of Law and Law, Public Policy and Governance only. University reserves the right to not to fill up any of the below specified vanacies.

1. Recruitment of Professor (Law):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. in Law with minimum 10 years experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37000-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Professor (Law, Public Policy and Governance):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. in Law, Public Policy and Governance with minimum 10 years experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37000-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

3. Recruitment of Associate Professor (Law, Public Policy and Governance):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline and should also have acquired minimum 55% marks in Master’s degere. Atleast 8 years experience in teaching or research field is also required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37000-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Law, Public Policy and Governance):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have acquired minimum 55% marks in aggregate at Master’s degree level. Candidates must also have cleared the NET examination conducted by UGC.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

5. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Law):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have acquired minimum 55% marks in aggregate at Master’s degree level. Candidates must also have cleared the NET examination conducted by UGC.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form by sending a self addressed envelope on payment of Rs. 150 only. SC/ST candidates are required to pay the amount of Rs. 75 only. The payment is need to be done by the means of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of WBNUJS, Kolkata payable at Kolkata. In case, candidates have downloaded the application form from the university’s website, they are required to send the prescribed amount of application fee by the means of demand draft only.
