Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Bangalore calls for applications from eligible candidates on contractual basis for the position of Project Engineering and Senior Project Engineers.

Name of the positions: Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 26, which is divided as follows:

• Project Engineer – 20 posts

• Senior Project Engineer – 06 posts

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Project Engineer will get a consolidated pay of Rs.21600 per month, while candidates appointed for the position of Senior Project Engineer will get consolidated pay of Rs.32000 to Rs.40000 per month based on their experience in Research & Development.

Period of contract: Candidates will be appointed for a period of three years, initially for one year, which is extendable for two years more.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: For both positions, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Engineering/Technology with first-class in Electronics & communication Engineering/electrical & electronics engineering/electronics & telecommunication engineering/instrumentation/information technology/computer science engineering.

(or)

Candidates must have completed their Master of Engineering/Technology in the above-mentioned branches of engineering (or) even Ph. D holders in relevant fields can apply.

Age requirement: The maximum age limit is 30 years for the position of Project Engineers and 33 years for the position of Senior Project Engineers.

Experience: candidates must have one-year experience in relevant field for the position of Project Engineer and three-years experience for Senior Project Engineer.

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.300 in the form of DD drawn in any scheduled bank in favor of C-DAC, Bangalore payable at Bangalore.

Mode of Selection:

For the post of project Engineers, candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test followed by technical interview to be held at the campus of CDAC at Bangalore. For the position of Senior Project Engineers, selection will be made based on the performance of the candidates in Technical Interview to be conducted at Bangalore.
