Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan is a premier education and research institution present in India. Professor Prem Kumar Kalra is the Director of the institute. The institute has an urban campus spreaded in an area of 900 acres. The institute is located at Jodhpur, Rajasthan and it works on the motto of ‘Tvam Gnyana Mayo Vignyana Mayo Asi’. The other seven IITs are located in Kharagpur, Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Madras, Roorkee and Kanpur. There has been proposed a plan to setup eight new IITs in the different states of India which will increase the total number of IITs to 15.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan is inviting applications from Indian Nationals for the following faculty and research position in the areas like Renewable Energy, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Information & Communication Technology etc.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout. Experience of atleast 10 years in teaching or research is also required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10500.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout. Experience of atleast 3 years in teaching or research is also required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Contracts):
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout. Only fresh Ph.D. candidates are required for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

4. Recruitment of Project Officer:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 70000.

5. Recruitment of Associate Project Officer:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 50000.

6. Recruitment of Assistant Project Officer:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 35000.

7. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant subject or area with a good academic record throughout. Experience of atleast 6 years in teaching or research is also required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 9500.
