Punjab Technical University conducts combined entrance exam every year for the admittance of aspirants to its engineering, architectural and pharmacy courses. The details of PTU CET are mentioned below.

Structure of Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test

Each candidate is required to attend 3 papers. The aspirants who wish to join engineering / architecture course has to attend physics, mathematics and Chemistry / Biology / Bio - technology / Computer Science papers. For admission to pharmacy course, the aspirants have to attend physics, chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Bio - technology / Computer Science papers. The time duration of the exam will be 180 minutes with in which the candidate is required to attend all the 3 papers.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed their 10+2 standard from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the Punjab Technical University Common Entrance Test. The candidates in the final year of qualifying exam can also apply provided they can submit their certificates at the time of admission.

How to Apply?

The application form can be obtained directly from concerned centers of PTU by payment of application fee of Rs. 550/-. One can also get application via post for which by sending a Demand Draft of Rs.600/- which is drawn in favor of Registrar, PTU payable at Jalandhar. The filled application in all respects has to be send through Speed Post / Registered Post or by hand to Admission Cell (CET) Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Campus, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar – 144001, Punjab.

How to fill the Form?

The applicants are required to fill the application form carefully in ones own handwriting neatly and legibly. All the details regarding filling the form are mentioned in the prospectus. The candidates may read it before filling the form to avoid mistakes. No column in the application should be left blank. The form has to be completely filled by furnishing the exact details.
