Company profile: It is a fortune 500 company. It is one of the biggest oil companies in India with a huge working force. Its main objective is to serve the interests of the nation in oil and related sector in accordance with government policies. It also aims to keep a smooth supply of petroleum and related products. Its major project is going on in Orissa which involves a capital of Rs29777 crores.
Job profile: The officers will be responsible for dealing in the following areas: Petroleum Refinery / Petrochemical / Polymer Plant operations, water and waste water quality management, Technical Services etc for quality assurance, Testing of Polymers and exposure of Melt Flow Index etc.
Eligibility: Only Indian nationals can apply. The age limit is 30 years as on 31.08.2009 (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST candidates & 40 years for PH).
Educational qualification: A candidate must be a PhD in Chemistry from a recognized Indian University/Institute with at least 60% marks in Graduation and Post-Graduation level. The Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in petroleum/petrochemical/polymer labs as a quality control officer/research officer.
No. of posts: There are 20 posts in total.
Pay scale: The officers will be given a basic pay of Rs23000 in the scale of pay of Rs23000-46500 plus other allowances.
Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, group discussions and interviews.
How to apply: The candidates have to submit their applications online. The print out of the application along with a DD of Rs300 (only for Gen and OBC) in favor of Oil India Limited (Refinery Division) payable at New Delhi and along with the other documents must be sent to The Advertiser, Post Box No. 3098, Lodhi Road Head Post Office, New Delhi – 110 003.
The candidates must write their name and address on the back of the DD.
