Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya was established in 1998. There are many Pharmacy Colleges, Engineering Colleges, Architecture Colleges, and MCA Colleges under this University. The courses offered by the University include undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The institute also offers online courses in various streams. The courses include different streams like Management, Fashion, Engineering, Forensic Science, Space Sciences, Social Work, Communication, Nanotechnology, and Pharmacy. The University conducts entrance exam for admission to various Ph.D courses.

Structure of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Phd English Entrance Exam

The admission for Ph.D English course is through a written test which is followed by interview. The written test will include all the topics covered in M. A.English. The duration of the written test will be two hours. The written test will include both objective as well as subjective questions. The candidate should obtain a minimum of 50% marks in entrance test to qualify and appear for the interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Doctor of Philosophy in English must hold Master’s degree in English from a recognized university. The candidate should obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

The application form can be downloaded from the official web site of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya http://rgpv.ac.in/.  The candidate should send the completed application form to Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Airport Bypass, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal  –462033. The applicant should enclose a demand draft or IPO of Rs. 750/- along with the completed application form. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Registrar Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya payable at Bhopal.  The applicant should keep a header on the envelope as “Application form for Ph.D. Admission in the faculty of English”.

How to fill the Form?

All the details in the application form should be filled carefully by the candidate. The candidate should affix their recent photograph in the area specified. The photograph should be self attested by the candidate. The candidate’s name, father’s name, and mother’s name should be entered in bold letters by the candidate. The applicant should provide a tick in the relevant box by the candidate. Pin code should be provided along with the complete address. The candidate should enter the STD code also while entering the phone number. The applicant should provide the email address in the specified space. The candidate should provide all the bank details only after referring the bank draft. The candidate should fill in the form personally.
