Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60 % marks and it should be from any recognized University. For reserved category candidates there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required to apply for this exam.

How to apply?

The applicants can download the application form from the official website of the University. The completely filled up form and a DD of Rs.75/- in favour of ‘The Registrar’, RGPV payable at Bhopal should be sent to Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Airport Bypass, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal – 462033. The heading on the envelope should be “Application form for Ph.D. Admission in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering”.

How to fill the Form?

The candidate should be very careful while filling up details in the application form. They should first go through the instruction bulletin given in the exam brochure. They have to mention their name, contact details, date of birth, category and qualification details in the appropriate places without making any mistakes. Their signature should match with that in the original certificates. They should also affix their recent passport size photographs in the appropriate places.
