Salaries after B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering in Government Organizations

The governmental organizations such as Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Civil Aviation Department, National Aeronautical Laboratory (NAL), Defence Research Development Laboratories (DRDO), Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL), Helicopter Corporation of India, etc are providing good openings for the aerospace engineers. In these organizations, the aerospace engineers will be paid according to an official scale. The starting monthly salary in the various governmental firms excluding the allowances will be in the range of Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 12000/-. The graduates may get promotion to higher post and hence a hike in salary by writing various departmental tests.

Salaries after B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering in Private Institutions

Apart from the various governmental organizations, the private organisations such as various private airlines, flying clubs, aircraft manufacturers, etc also provide numerous job opportunities to the aerospace engineers where they will be paid much better than the government firms. In these firms, the starting monthly salary of the graduates will be in the range of Rs. 10000/- to Rs. 15000/- per month. With skill and experience in this field, the income of these graduates may touch Rs. 30000/- monthly within 3 to 4 years.

Remuneration after B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering Abroad

A lot of job opportunities are also available in foreign countries such as United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and so on for the aerospace engineers. A good fraction of Indians work as engineers and professionals in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), R & D areas of Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Civil Aviation. One of the main profits in acquiring a job abroad is that the pay scale will be much higher than their mother country. The starting salary of an aerospace engineer in any of the foreign country firms will be in the range of Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 1 lakh monthly. This will increase with skill and experience.
