SBI PO Exam Pattern
State bank of India is a reputed nationalized bank. The bank is conducting Probationary Officer test every year. The test is for staffing the aspirants for the position Probationary Office. Probationary Officer is considered as a reputed post in the banks. The selection depends upon the performance of the applicants in the entrance exam.
The candidates have to score at least 40%marks in each of these three stages. Final marks is based on total marks applicants are getting in the test. The application forms are available online. The interested applicant can fill the application forms through online. Selected applicants will be on probation of two years.
Syllabus for SBI PO Exam
Although, there is no specific syllabus for Probationary Officer exam, the aspirants can go through the usually asked questions in the previous years. The reasoning section of the test is looking into a candidate’s mental aptitude. The aspirants can prepare the questions related to decision-making, blood relations, arithmetical reasoning etc. In the General awareness section, the topics are selected from sport, important dates, monetary news, books, awards, political happenings, discoveries etc. English part includes the comprehension, grammar, antonyms, error relation, vocabulary etc. Other parts are the mirror images, cubes, dices etc. In the English section, the aspirants should focus more on grammar and vocabulary. Reading different books and newspaper will help to get in-depth knowledge of topics asked in the firm.
Question pattern of SBI PO Exam
SBI PO Exam model is of two kinds, one is a Written test and Group Discussion and Interview. The written test includes two papers. This paper consists of 4 parts like Test of English Language, Test of General Awareness, Test of data analysis and interpretation, Test of Reasoning. The second is the Descriptive paper encompasses of areas like small outline, comprehension, article and letter writing. In Group discussion, the selected aspirants from the written exams can attend. There is Data Analysis & Interpretation and General Awareness; Marketing and Computer related questions are included. The candidates need to know about the current affairs, marketing news, computer operations definitions etc. The aspirants need to score well in descriptive sections.
