Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute was established on April 10, 1956 under the Government of India. The institute was actually opened by the first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. The institute is located at Bhavnagar, Gujarat. It comes under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. The major objective of the institute is to prepare the nutrient rich salts of Plant Origins.

Eligibility:
