Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering is an under graduate program. The course mainly deals with many environment related subjects such as Pollution control, Hazardous waste management, Toxic materials control, Water supply related problems and other important topics in this field. This course applies principles of science to improve environment. The course is mainly a four year program which is divided into four parts, each comprising a year, which is again divided into semesters of 6 month duration. Students who have completed their higher secondary exam (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) with a minimum aggregate of 50% are eligible for this course. This course is of great importance in our country because there is need of providing healthy air, water and land for the habitants.
