Job Profile:

Eligible as well as qualified candidates are invited to apply on the posts of Senior STaff Scientist and Senior STaff Scientist (Teaching) in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing which comes under Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India..

Eligibility:

Candidates should not have age more than 33 years as on 21 March 2011. There is relaxation available for the reserved category candidates as per the rules of Government of India. Interested candidates should strictly follow this age criteria.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to possess B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication/Control & Instrumentation/Applied Electronics & instrumentation/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science?Information Technology with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also have relevant post qualification experience of 3 years. Candidates having MCA as educational qualification with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years, can also apply for the specified posts.

Senior Staff Scientist (Teaching): 5 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Senior Staff Scientist: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
Senior Staff Scientist (Teaching): Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to submit a non refundable processing fee of Rs. 200. SC/ST candidates are exempted from apying this application fee. The application fee must be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram. The demand draft must reach before the last date for the online application. Name of the applicant and application number should be clearly written on the backside of the demand draft.

Selection Process:

A competitive written test followed by a Personal interview test are the selection criterias set for the posts of Senior Staff Scientist in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing will organize both written test and personal interview test on its own.
