Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited was formed in the year 2000. The company was established with the aim to serve as a distribution company of AP Transco. The company has its headquarter and corporate office located at Visakhapatnam. Mr. Ahmad Nadeem is the present Chairman cum Managing Director of the company. The company has also been awarded with the status of being an ISO 9001-2008 certified organization. The company was awarded with ISO certificate for ISMS. The company is the first DISCOM to become an ISO certified company.

Job Profile:

Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant positions of Sub Engineer in Electrical Engineering field. The posts of Sub Engineer are available in various Operation Circles. Candidates will be appointed on the training cum probation for the period of 2 years.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Sub Engineer is 18 years as on 1 July 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Sub Engineer is 36 years as on 1 July 2012.

Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit specified above. Candidates have age less than the prescribed minimum age limit and more than the prescribed maximum age limit, are not eligible to apply for the post.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Graduation in Electrical Engineering alongwith the Diploma in Electrical Engineer or equivalent. Candidates should have done their qualification at any recognized institute or board under Government of India. Those candidates who possess Graduation in Electronics & Electrical Engineering without Diploma in EEE need not to apply.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 11545-23115 per month.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. No interview will be conducted by the Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited.
