The Tamil Nadu Open University provides various programs on different subjects, and disciples. The BBA 2nd Year examinations have a subject known as Business communication paper, and the examination is held in the fall of the 4th semester, somewhere around June. The paper is divided into two major sections, Part A, and Part B. Part A is a short answer type section, with each question carrying 5 marks. The answer length should not exceed two pages for questions in part A, and if it does exceed, then the first two pages are only counted as answers, and the rest of the answer is not taken into consideration. The candidates are required to answer any three questions out of 5.

Part B consists of long answer type questions, with each question carrying 15 marks. The candidates are required to answer the question in not more than 5 pages. In any case if it exceeds only the first 5 pages will be counted as an answer and the rest discarded. Answers should always begin on a fresh page. The candidates need to answer four questions out of a total of seven questions in that section. The total mark of the examination hence becomes 85.
