Tamil Nadu Open University runs many different courses on Post Graduate level. MA course is one of that. In the Second year of the MA Sociology course there are 5 papers. The names of the Papers are Psychological Theories, Sociology of Indian Society, Principles of Sociology, Sociology of Health and Social Psychology.

All the papers have similar paper pattern. The Question papers are of descriptive type. The time duration given to answer the paper is of 3 hrs. The paper is for the 75 marks to the maximum.

The question paper has 2 parts in it, Part A and Part B. Part A has total 5 question and the student has to answer 3 question form that. Each question is for 5 marks and the answer should not exceed that 1 page.

While Part B covers 60 marks and it has total 7 questions and the student ahs to answer the 4 questions. So each question is for the 15 marks. Each answer should not exceed more than 5 pages. There is no separate time limitation is given to complete the Part A and Part B.
