Job Profile:

Indian Space Research Organiation is making recruitment of eligible candidates on the following positions of Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Catering Supervisor and Junior Hindi Translator in Satish Dhawan Space Centre located at Andhra Pradesh. The post of Technical Assistant is available in the field of Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Safety, Chemical and Photography.

1. Recruitment of Technical Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 24 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 18 July 2011.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in the concerned discipline with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

2. Recruitment of Scientific Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 18 July 2011.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in the concerned discipline with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

3. Recruitment of Catering Supervisor:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 18 July 2011.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Catering Science & Hotel Management with atleast one year of experience in the relevant field. Candidates possessing Diploma in Catering with atleast 3 years of experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

4. Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 18 July 2011.
Educational Qualification: MA in Hindi or English from a recognized university. Candidates, who have done MA in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory subjects, are also eligible to apply.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Selection Process:

Initial screening of the candidates will be done on the basis of their academic performance and bio data. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test or interview. Candidates will be shortlisted after the initial screening.
