University of North Bengal, M.A. (H) Political Science, Part One Paper is a two hour paper. The total marks for the same is 42. There are five questions in all from which the fifth one is compulsory. It is basically a short notes question with internal choices given in it. All the questions in the paper are subjective essay type question. Therefore there is no negative marking on the paper. You need to answer all questions in a separate answer sheet. Make sure to begin a new answer on a different answer sheet.

Always make sure that you write substantial information for each question. Support your answers with the relevant examples, case studies, statistics and other details. All the questions in the paper are from the portion covered during the course of the year. Make sure to solve the last years’ papers and other model question papers as they serve as a useful reference guide to study for the exam. It will also help you learn how to time yourself well so as to get the best results. Keep your answers as to the point as possible to get maximum marks.
