Upper Division Clerk, Multitasking Staff, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established by the Central Government under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to protect the interest of workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc that results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The major function performed by ESIC is to administer the scheme. The prescribed scheme was actually implemented in the year 1952 at Kanpur and Delhi.
Job Profile:
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates on the following vacant posts of Upper Division Clerk and Multitasking Staff. Only eligible Indian nationals are invited to apply for the specified posts. However, the nuber of vacancies is provision and may vary at the time of final selection as per the requirements of the corporation.
Eligibility:
For the post of Upper Division Clerk: Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit i.e. 18 to 27 years as on the last date for the submission of online application i.e. 31 January 2012, for being eligible for the specified post.
For the post of Multitasking Staff: Candidates are required to have age more than 18 years but less than 25 years as on 31 january 2012, or else they will be considered uneligible for the specified post.
However, reserved categories candidates may get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit as per the rules and regulations of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
Upper Division Clerk: Candidates should have done Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. Besides this, interested candidates should also have working knowledge of computers including the use of all office suites.
Multitasking Staff: Candidates are required to possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
No. of posts: Total 57 posts are available.
Upper Division Clerk: Only 45 posts are available.
(General-23, SC-7, ST-3 and OBC-12)
Multitasking Staff: Only 12 posts are available.
(General-5, SC-2, ST-1 and OBC-4)
Pay Scale:
Upper Division Clerk: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.
Multitasking Staff: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.
Application Fee:
Interested candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee before applying online for any of the specified post. The application fee must be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft drawn from any nationalized bank. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of ESIC Fund Account No. I.R.D., H.P. payable at Parwanoo only.
Application fee for the post of Upper Division Clerk: Rs. 225 only.
Application fee for the post of Multitasking Staff: Rs. 125 only.
No fee is to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM/Female/Departmental candidates.
How to apply: Applications must be made online only at ESIC Himachal website. Candidates should print the filled in form after submitting it online at the website, and send it alongwith the demand draft and other required enclosures to the following address. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for. The address to which the envelope should reach:
