Company profile: JMC like any other municipal corporation is a govt. body and works for the development of the state and welfare of its people. The tasks under it include construction of roads, parking areas, school, formulation of laws and policies etc. It has various schemes and online services to serve the state.

Job profile: The candidates will have to perform their respective roles like assisting local urban bodies, examine the quality of DPRs and ensure linkages with CDP, convergence of health, education and social welfare schemes, personal management and capacity building, implementation of reforms etc.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 37 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: For Project Coordinator (Housing and Slum development) – A candidate must be a B.E/B.TECH in civil or a candidate must have a degree in town planning or equivalent. For Social Development Officer – A candidate must be a qualified social worker from a recognized institute with a relevant experience of 5 years. For Research Officer – A candidate must have a Master’s degree in economics. For Livelihood Development Specialist – A candidate must have a 1st class Master’s degree in computer application/IT/Social science. For Research and Training Coordinator – A candidate must be a post graduate in personal management/HR.

No. of posts: There are 5 posts in total which includes 1 post for each of the above positions.

Pay scale: For project coordinator, social development officer and livelihood development specialist the pay will be Rs40000 per month. For research officer it will be Rs30000 per month and for research and training coordinator it will be Rs20000 per month.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview.
