The foundation stone for Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology was laid in the year 1938 on the 21st of November and now the college is standing as an epitome in the stream of engineering and technology education. The college is coming under the jurisdiction of Aligarh Muslim University and it was given this name in honor of the former president of India.

Eligibility Criteria & Admission Procedure:
For getting admission to the UG courses offered by the college, the candidates must get through the combined admission test, which is divided into two papers. Candidates hoping to join B. Tech courses, will have to pass the paper I, while students appearing for B. Arch should get through both paper I and II. For both these courses, the minimum educational qualification is higher secondary school certificate with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English. The candidate can also be a diploma holder in respective field with minimum 50% aggregate marks. For the PG Courses, the candidates must have completed B. Sc Engineering/B. Tech in relevant branch with a minimum aggregate of 60% of marks. For M. Tech in nanotechnology and computer science & Technology alone the minimum percentage of mark required is 65%. For PG courses, GATE score and the performance of the students in the departmental test will also be considered.

Last gone for mechanichal engineering in last year
any facilities in seat allocation for admission in to B.Tech courses for the student of NE region and off-springs of Aligarian from that region ?
