i have passed 12 class this year,i m appearing for cate this year,so plzz tell me the syllabus of cate??

The University has not prescribed any particular syllabus for Delhi University Common Aptitude Test. However, students are recommenced to study Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) syllabus of the English subject, thoroughly. The main focus of the candidates, while preparing for this entrance test, should be on practicing questions based on English literature and grammar.

CATE stands for common aptitude test in English .

If you have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks in English subject then you are applicable for CATE exam.

Also they consider that , your top 4 subject must contain above 60% .

The syllabus for CATE entrance exam is only English subject with 12th standard.You can focus on grammar portion .
