Disha Institute of Management & Technology, shortly called as DIMT was formed by Disha Education Society and the aim of the society is to impart higher education to the local people by running educational institutions. The institution is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University and the courses offered are approved by AICTE. The institute is an affiliate of the Indian Society for Technical Education functioning at New Delhi.

Courses Offered:

The institute is offering Bachelor of Engineering in different branches, master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application. The branches covered under Bachelor of Engineering are computer science & engineering, electronics & telecommunication, electrical & electronics, mechanical engineering and information technology engineering.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure:

For getting admission to the B.E course, the candidates must have completed higher secondary education with mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks. For this course, candidate must get through the AIEEE/CGPET conducted by the Government of Chhattisgarh. For MBA course, the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% of marks and should hold a valid MAT Score. In the case of MCA, the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with mathematics at the higher secondary education level. The candidate should also get through the Pre CG-MCA Entrance Test for getting MCA admission.

Infrastructure:

Disha Education society has provided several facilities in DIMT and some of them include laboratories, digital library, seminar hall and Audio-Visual rooms. In addition, the institution is fully protected with security and surveillance systems offering 24-hour recording system. The campus is wholly connected with Wi-Fi systems in such a way that students are offered online teaching through their laptops.

Training & Placement:

The training & placement cell of the institution is operating region wise in such a way that live industrial projects, summer training, industrial visits, etc….can be easily arranged by the authorities functioning in each area.
