A.P.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore
This college belongs to the APS Educational Trust which started a primary school by the consistent efforts of Shri N. Ananthachar. Later a polytechnic college was founded in 1958 for which the principal grant of land was from the Government of Karnataka.
Today APS owns more than 15 educational institutions in Bangalore which imparts high quality education to the students. This college is affiliated to Viswesvaraya Technological University.

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science

Admission:
The candidate’s admission is based on the score in Common Entrance Test (CET) organized by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges in Karnataka (COMEDK) which is formed by the private medical, engineering and dental colleges association. Each year COMEDK conducts a common entrance test and the rank list will be followed by centralized counseling of single window system.
The fee received from the candidates depends on the nature of merit score awarded to them. The web site of the college clearly shows the fee structure for 2009-2010 for COMEDK candidates and for candidates selected through management quota.
Infrastructure:
This institute provides quality infrastructure over a vast area of 100 acres of land. The entire campus is well maintained by the administration and management staff which reflects in the lush environment.
Library:
The library maintains over 24,500 volumes of books of different titles. Various books are available here starting from the basics of the subject to its specialty or advance study. The library also maintains e-resources in the form of 160 journals subscribed through AICTE.
Transport:
Since the college is situated 25 km away from the city of Bangalore, the college runs 7 buses through different routes for commuting students to the campus.
Hostel:
The accommodation for 150 male students is made at the hostel premises for reasonable rate with all amenities.
Industrial visits and seminars are included in the semester of each student for giving practical training.
