How to fill MAT forms?

Management Aptitude Test is a National level entrance test organized by AIMA. This is for the admission of candidates to MBA and other related programmes. The qualified candidates will get admission to various business management institutes in India which are approved by AICTE.

MAT is carried out four times in a year and in the months of September, December, February and May. This score is must for the admission into post graduate programmes like PGDM, PGDITM and allied programmes offered by AIMA-CME and MI. The MAT scores are also considered for the admission of aspirants in many international business schools.

The candidates who have pursued their graduation in any stream can apply for this examination. The application is to be done by online mode. For this they must visit the official website of AIMA. The details for filling the application online are mentioned below.

Instructions to be followed for filling in the form

As said earlier, the application form for MAT is to be submitted by online. Before applying they have to take the application fee as DD payable at Delhi. There are two modes of examination available either paper-based test or computer-based test. Candidates can choose any one mode. The candidates should fill all the necessary fields and details of DD in the application form carefully. They can submit the form after checking it.

An auto generated registration number will be received after the successful admission of the application. This must be noted for future reference. Then the print out of the filled up form submitted should be taken and send to the official address of AIMA. It should be attached along with other relevant documents and DD. The auto generated registration number and institution/ university name should be noted in the backside of the DD.

Exemptions to Be Taken Care While Filling In Form

There are no exemptions for the MAT exam. Candidates can attend the tests as many times they wish. Also there is no upper age limit for the participating candidates. Only condition is that they should have attained 21 years of age and should complete their graduation.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications

The last date for the receipt of filled up application form and other particulars at AIMA Delhi are 4th June 2011.

Acknowledgement of Exam Application Form

All candidates applied for the test will receive admit card for the examination. This can be downloaded form the official website. The candidates applied for the two modes of test will receive specific admit cards. This card will include the candidate’s name, form number, roll number, test venue, test time and date of examination.
