Paper Description:

The Sathyabama University B.E in Civil Engineering-IInd Semester Building Materials - II Paper is basically a theory related paper and deals with the information about the structure of glass, plastics and aggregate etc. Applications and properties of different glasses, concrete are also a part of the syllabus of this paper.

Paper Pattern:

The Building Materials - II paper follows a simple pattern. The complete paper is categorized in to two parts, A and B respectively. The first part of this paper holds a maximum of ten questions with a total of twenty marks. All the questions are mandatory to attempt and each carrying equal marks. The next part holds a total of 60 marks with a total of five long answer type questions. Each question carries 12 marks and one should have to attempt all the questions from this part.
