Recruitment to the post of ‘Executive Trainee 2013’ in Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) is on the basis of GATE score of 2013. Candidates will be shortlisted for group discussion and personal interview according to their scores. Application to the recruitment process can be done only through online mode.

Selection Procedure of Executive Trainee in GAIL 2013

The organization considers scores obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2013 for the recruitment of Executive Trainee in various departments. Candidates who wish to join as Executive Trainee in GAIL are required to appear for GATE exam 2013 in any of the following subjects.

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Chemical Engineering

Candidates who have cleared the GATE exam will be shortlisted for further procedures that include selection procedure as per their rankings in GATE exam. GATE qualified candidates are required to attend

• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

In Group Discussion, candidates will be given a common topic. Candidates’ communication skill and awareness in topic will be evaluated in Group Discussion. There will be specific marks for Group discussion. Those who have scored the minimum cut off in Group Discussion will be short listed for personal interview, which is the final step of Selection Procedure. There will be questions from technical sections, general topics and questions to measure candidates’ personal behavior. Final selection is done on the basis of the composite scores obtained by the candidates in Group Discussion as well as in Personal Interview.

Application Process for GAIL ‘Executive Trainee’ 2013

Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the official website of Gas Authority of India Limited. They are required to register with GATE-2013 Registration number in online application. No other mode of application is accepted. Candidates should have a valid e mail id. Applications without GATE registration number will be rejected without intimation. Those who are applying for more than one post will not be considered. Candidates are required to submit the details regarding to their academics. Those who have successfully submitted the application will be received a system generated unique registration number. Apart from this, they will receive a confirmation email.

Candidates are required to take print out of the system generated completed application form. They will have to affix passport size photograph and sign in the space provided. Candidates are required to keep the completed application form safely for future reference. Those who are shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal interview will have to submit the documents.
