Centre profile: The centre for water resources development and management was established in the 1978. It is a reputed and a premier organization for research and development work in the field of water management. It also carries research in the various other fields such as GIS for water management, groundwater hydrology, EIA, forest hydrology and irrigation and drainage.  

Job profile: The junior research fellows will be required to carry the research and development work in the field of geology and chemistry. They will be responsible for new finds and also will have to carry some experiments. They will also have to work on projects and support their seniors.

Eligibility: A candidate should be 28 yrs or below as on 1st October 2009. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must possess an M.Sc degree in chemistry/geology with a first class bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an institution. A candidate with some experience will be preferred.

No. of posts: There are 2 posts in total which includes 1 post in geology department and 1 post in chemistry department.

Pay scale: The junior research fellows will get a monthly stipend of Rs 12000.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview. Their qualifications and experience will also be judged.
