Gautam Buddha University was founded in the year 2008 under Government of Uttar Pradesh Act (9) of 2002, the Government of India. The university is named after the famous saint, Gautam Buddha. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh state is the Chancellor of the university. Professor R.S. Nirjar is on the post of Vice-Chancellor in this university. The campus of the university is located at Greater Noida, UP, India, spreaded in an area of around 511 acres. The university provide various post graduate courses to its students. The first session of the university was actually started in the year 2008.

Job Profile:

Gautam Buddh Technical University is making recruitment of eligible and qualified candidates on the following faculty positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Both the faclty positions are available in the discipline of Architecture. The appointment of faculty members will be done purely on contract basis for a fixe period of time. However, the period of contract may be renewed on year to year basis as per the requirment of the Gautam Buddh Technical University.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have age within the prescribed age limit or else they would not be considered eligible for the above mentioned faculty positions in Gautam Buddh Technical University. Candidates must strictly follow the criteria set for the minimum age limit and also maximum age limit. However, there may be some years of relaxation provided for the candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Educational Qualification:

Associate Professor: Ph.D. or equivalent in the appropriate discipline with minimum 5 years of experience in teaching or research field is required for the post.

Assistant Professor: Bachelor’s degree alongwith Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university. Candidates should have passed the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with atleast 60% marks in aggergate. No experience is required for the post of Assistant Professor.

Pay Scale:

Associate Professor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 per month.
Assistant Professor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 22000 per month.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 200 is need to be sent by the interested candidates, who belongs to the General and OBC categories. Rs. 100 is the amount of application fee for SC/ST candidates. The payment must be done through an account payee Bank Draft. The draft should be drawn in favour of the Principal, Lucknow College of Architecture payable at Lucknow. Payment of this application fee is must for each interested candidate.
