i completed my LL.B DEGREE WITH 59% AMRAVATI UNIVERSITY
I WISH TO APPEAR FOR NET/SET EXAM MY AGE IS ABOVE 28
CAN I APPEAR FOR THIS EXAM.

i have pass my m.sc.1st year by grace and my percentage are 56%. please tell me is i am eligible for net set exam?

after M.com i want to do NEtSet

any age limit fo net set test

After B.COM you are not eligible for NET exam but you have MASTER degree then you are eligible for NET exam.

eligibility criteria for NET*:-

M.Sc or equivalent degree under the subjects mentioned above, with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates*
and 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D.*

Age Eligibility:

For Juniour resaerch fellowship: 19 to 28 years
For lecturership: There is no upper age limit.Minimum age is 19 years.

You have done B.COM and MBA so you have choose any commerce related subject .

How to Apply:
Candidates have to apply online through the website www.unipune.ernet.in/set. After applying online candidates have to take a print out of the filled form and send it along with a Demand Draft and copies of necessary documents to University of Pune.

Important Dates:
Date of SET: 13th September, 2009
Availability of Application Forms: 10th June-6th July, 2009
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 13th July, 2009

Pattern and Syllabus of Examination:
There will be 3 papers in the entrance. Paper 1 will have objective questions from Teaching and Research Aptitude. Paper 2 will have objective questions from the Post Graduation subject. Paper 3 will have short and long questions from the Post Graduation subject. Paper 1 & 2 will be of 75 minutes each and will have 50 questions of 100 marks each. Paper 3 will be of 200 marks and 2 and a half hours duration. Paper 3 will be evaluated only for those who qualify in Paper 1 & 2. the eligibility is master degree graduation in any stream.

Sir, I have completed my B Com from Mumbai University with 83 %. Now I am doing a full time job and doing mym M Com from Mumbai University's distance learning course. Once completed my M Com this way with required % for eligibility criteria, will I be able to appear for NET/SET. OR they have require a full time campus course only for NET/SET.

Yes you are eligible to apply NET exam being a candidate of MBA holder.

NET-National Eligibility Test is conducted by the UGC (University Grants Commissio), this exam was held two times in a year, june and december.

Eligibility criteria for Junior Research Fellowship:

The candidate should be complete master's degree with atleast of 55% marks from any recognised university.

You must be citizen of india.

Age limits is 19years to 28years.

Eligibility criteria for lecturship:

The candidate complete master's degree from any recognised university with atleast 55% of marks.

You must cda citizen of india.

There is no maximum age limit for this exam but the minimum age limit is 19years.

The examination was conducted two session in a day, one is morning session (10.30 AM to 12.30PM) and the second session is (2.00 PM to 4.00PM).
