Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre was established on July 29, 1970. The centre was established as a division of the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Dr. A. L. Moorthy is the director of the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre. The major function of the centre is to collect and process the relevant technical information for DRDO scientists. Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre actually started functioning in the year 1958 and that too as a Scientific Information Bureau.
Job Profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Junior Research Fellow in the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre.
Eligibility:
The maximum age limit set for the candidates is 28 years. Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age for applying for the posts of Junior Research Fellow.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum educational qualification set for the candidates is Master’s degree in Library & Information Science with atleast 605 marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Posts Avaialble: There is only 1 posts available for the position of Junior Research Fellow.
Pay Scale: Consolidated amount of Rs. 12000 will be given to the selected candidates as salary.
Selection process: The final selection for the post of Junior Reserach Fellow will be made on the standards set by the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation centre.
