Goa Institute of Management is a good Institute located in the picturesque state of Goa. The eligibility for getting admission to the Institute is minimum 50% marks in the Undergraduate degree in any discipline. The bachelor’s degree should be from a institute recognized by Association of Indian Universities/AICTE.

The batch size for Post Graduate Diploma in Management PGDM is 120.

The selection process of the Institute is given below:

Candidates who aspire to get admission in the Institute have to sit for the XLRI Admissions Test (XAT) conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Applicants to the institute are shortlisted based on the scores of XAT. After this the candidates who are shortlisted are called for final selection. In The final process candidates are evaluated on a face to face basis. The interview centers are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Panaji.

The weightage of the XAT scores in the selection process is 50%, the past performance of the candidate academically carries a weightage of 10%, face to face evaluation has weightage of 30% and the work experience is of 10% weightage.

The cut off of the screening test i.e. XAT is lowered by 15 points for Goan domiciled candidates. Evidence needs to be given with the application form for domicile.
