ST Microelectronics recruits fresh Engineering graduates each year from some of the famous engineering colleges of India. The recruitment process of St Microelectronics is completed in 5 phases. First of all, there is a written test which contains questions from DBMS, Quantitative Aptitude, Unix Basics, Digital Electronics, OS, and Computer Architecture etc. A student has to clear this written test in order to get selected for the next round.

The next round or phase two is Group Discussion Round. In this phase students are grouped and each group is given a topic for GD. In this round some students are selected and are allowed to sit for the next phase. The third phase isTechnical Interview in which the selected candidates are asked questions related to DBMS, UNIX, and C etc. Phase 4 and 5 are First HR and Second H round. In HR rounds students are asked questions like why do you want to join this company? What can you do for the development of this company? What are your strengths and weakness? Final list of the selected candidates are declared after both the HR rounds are completed.
