Pattern of ICET:

It is an objective type test. Questions are of multiple choice, Out of the given multiple options, the candidate has to choose the correct answer.

DURATION OF THE TEST: 2 1/2 HOURS (150 MINUTES)

Section A:

• Analytical Ability

o Problem solving: 55 questions carrying 55 marks

o Data sufficiency : 20 questions carrying 20 marks

Section B:

• Mathematical Ability:

o Arithmetic Ability: 35 questions carrying 35 marks

o Algebraic & Geometrical Ability: 30 questions carrying 30 marks

o Statistical Ability: 10 questions carrying 10 marks

Eligibility for ICET:

a. The Candidate should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy Local/Non Local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up-to-date

b. Admissions into any college depends on its recognition / Affiliation by the Statutory bodies

c. Persons other than Indian Nationals shall satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned and

d. A pass in Bachelor’s Degree except BOL & BFA or appearing at the final year exams of Bachelor’s Degree of Universities in Andhra Pradesh or any other University recognized as equivalent there to Merely qualifying in the Entrance Test does not entitle a candidate to be admitted into the MBA/MCA courses unless the candidate applies to the concerned authority in response to the admission notification and satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the concerned authority.
