The Datta Meghe Colleeg of Engineering is in Mumbai and is a private institution. The college is affiliated to the prestigious University of Mumbai. The engineering college is approved by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the Maharashtra State and also the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.

Campus

The college has a total of two four storied buildings. Both the buildings are interconnected. The buildings are the Classroom and the Administrative wing. There is a library which is totally computerized and has a total of about 26000 volumes of books and also journals and magazines. It is a member of the British Council Library. The campus is totally connected to the internet through the Wi-Fi and has intercom facilities.

Courses Offered

The college offers a total of six undergraduate courses in the field of engineering. It offers Bachelor Of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Information Technology.  The intake is 90 in the first, 120 in the 2nd and 3rd and 60 in the last three respectively.

Admission Procedure

The admission to the college is made on the basis of rules of the DTE and also the AICTE. The merit obtained by the students in the Common Entrance Test and also the AIEEE is the key to admission to the institute.

Placements

The placement cell of the college works for getting the companies on campus. The college has the Tata Consultancy Services Accrediation and also the Infosys Campus Connect program. Apart from these two giants there are a lot of other Civil and Electronics companies recruiting students.
