Directorate of Medical Education Selection Committee 2011 B.Sc. Nursing
Directorate of Medical Education Selection Committee is one of the reputed committee which provides various medical courses in different institutions to the aspiring candidates. This Committee is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu for providing these courses to the candidates. Committee provides the 100 %placements assurance to the candidates after completion of this course.
Institute invites all the applicants for one of these courses in for admission into B.Sc nursing course for trained nurses in Government College of Nursing, Madras Medical College, Chennai - 3 and Self-Financing Colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu.

• B.Sc. Nursing Course
Eligibility criteria:
• Candidate must be Indian and must have domicile of Tamil Nadu.
• Candidate must be less than 40 years of age to be eligible for this course.
• Candidate must have scored minimum of 50 % aggregate in any of these disciplines from the recognized University (pass in three year Diploma in nursing Course.):
1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Biology (Botany and Zoology)
4. Nursing Vocational subject with Foundation Science
However candidates belonging to the reservation castes are offered relaxation in the above eligibility criterion.
How to Apply:
One needs to avail the application form of the examination from the place where it is available. In general, one can download the application form from the website or can collect it in detail from the designated place. After availing the form, one needs to fill the form completely. The completely filled form is then required to be submitted to the required place within the last day of submission along with the necessary documents and sum of money in the demand draft form.
Important Dates:
• Commencement of sale of application forms: Mid of August, 2011
• Last date for submission of completed application forms: First week of September, 2011.
