Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established by the Central Government under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to protect the interest of workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc that results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The major function performed by ESIC is to administer the scheme.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for posts of Lower Division Clerk in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation depending on their qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be in between 18 to 27 years of age. Candidates should not be more than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to be atleast 12th apssed or equivalent alongwith some working knowledge of computer and a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.

No. of posts: Total 46 posts are available (Gen-24, SC-3, ST-7, OBC-12, PH-2 and Ex.SM-5).

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed salary of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

Selection Process:

Candidates selection on the specified post will be made strictly on the basis of a written test and a personal interview examination with the selection committee.
