St. Ann’s College of Education is affiliated to Osmania University and the college receives grants-in-aid from the Andhra Pradesh State Government. It is a Catholic minority institution administered by the worshippers of the Sisters of St. Ann, who work in different parts of the world in countries. The college was established in the year 1966 as the first college solely for women in the area of Telangana.

Admission Procedure:

For getting admission to the B. Ed course, the candidate should be a graduate and admission is made according to the seats allotted based on the government order issued by the state government. The current method of allotment followed is 15% for physical science, 35% of mathematics, 30% for biological science and 20% for social studies methodology. The student should have secured 45% in the degree course and admission is made based on the merit secured by the students in the EdCET examination. In the case of post-graduation course, the candidate should possess a minimum of 36 marks in entrance examination conducted by Osmania University and should also have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in the B. Ed course.
