Anand Niketan College of Agriculture, Warora
Anand Niketan College of Agriculture is affiliated to Dr. Punjabrao Deshmuk Krishi Vidyapeeth and the college was established in the year 1965. It is managed by a seva samiti called as Maharogi Sewa Samiti and it was established in the tribal region of Chandrapur District in the state of Maharashtra.
Course Details:
Anand Niketan College of Agriculture is offering Bachelor of Science in agriculture and the duration of this course is four years. The college is following semester system of education and the grading system followed by it is 10 point grading system. The students intake capacity of the college is 96 students per year.

Admission to the college is done by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and amendments and Dr. Punjabrao Deshmuk Krishi Vidyapeeth with Indian Council of Agriculture Research located at Delhi.

Campus of the college:
The campus of Anand Niketan College of Agriculture is owned by the samiti mentioned earlier and the campus includes separate buildings for laboratories, gymkhana, computer, agronomy, entomology, botany, agriculture extension education, horticulture statistics and agriculture economics, diary and animal husbandry, chemistry and agriculture soil section, plant pathology, classrooms, library, examination section and administrative office.
Laboratories in the college:
The laboratories in the college are designed in such a way that they suit for practical education in the field of agriculture. A total of 11 laboratories are functioning in the campus of the college for each departments of agriculture. In addition to these labs, the college has recently earned grants from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre located at Mumbai and the state government for setting up new labs for tissue culture, bio-fertilizer and bio-control.
