Fee structure of B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)
In India Bachelor of Architecture is one of the preferred courses for students throughout ages. This is because real estate and construction industry is always at boom. Thus the demand for architect is rising steadily. This is the reason for most of the students to take up architecture as their careers. Students who aspire to study architecture have to sit for joint entrance examinations of state level or national level entrance examination conducted by Council of architecture. According to the rank of the entrance examinations, the students get the opportunity of getting into architecture institutes in the country.
The course duration B.Arch is of 4years. There are several private as well as government institutions in the country offering B.Arch course. Generally, the programs vary from one institute to the other. Hence the fees structure also varies for degree and diploma courses. The diploma course of B.Arch is comparatively lower than that of degree. The government aided institutes has very nominal fee structure. The fee structure of such institute is between 1,60000-2, 30000. In case of private institute the fee structure varies from institute to institute and it is between 2,00000-3,50000. These fee structures are exclusive of all other expenses of students like hostel, library etc. The fee charges for diploma course is abit less and it is between1, 30000- 200000.
Scholarships are being offered to unprivileged meritorious students. Government aided institutes also provide scholarships for the top ranked students. Government organizations provide fees relaxation to the backward classes and minorities. The relaxation on the fees structure is provided to the students once they show the original proof of their belonging to certain categories that comes under government scheme for receiving benefits. Private institutes give discounts on their fee structure once the student is being announced as university topper.
