Pacific College of Physiotherapy was founded in the year 1998 to meet the long-standing expectation and need of the people of the eastern part of U.P. Initially, the college was affiliated to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University located at Agra and later in the year 2005, it got affiliation from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.

Educational Programmes:

Pacific College of Physiotherapy is offering the following courses:

• Four-and-half year bachelor degree course in Physiotherapy called as BPT

• Four-year bachelor course in Pathology called as BPH

• Four-year degree course in Radiology

• Four-year bachelor of science in pathology

• Three-and-half years diploma course in nursing

• Two-year Master degree course in physical Therapy called as MPT

• Two-year Master degree course in physical Therapy in the following branches:

o Sports

o Cardio

o Ortho

o Neuro

• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Science

Eligibility for admission:

For the degree courses, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in biology group with a minimum percentage of 45% of marks and even candidates in the final year of their higher secondary examination can apply.

Mode of Selection:

Gorakhpur University conducts a combined entrance examination every year in the month of May/June and the marks secured by students in this examination is considered for admission to Pacific College of Physiotherapy. Candidates succeeding in the entrance examination will be called for counseling and on successful completion of counseling students are admitted to the college. Some of the seats are also filled through management quota.

Pacific College of Physiotherapy offers several facilities to the students like aesthetic classrooms, library, hostel, practical training in the hospital belonging to the college, personality development programmes and educational tours are also organized by the college in such a way that students can understand the psychological aspects, traditions and cultures followed in different parts of the country.
