Physiotherapists are physicians who treat the physical as well as emotional well being of people. They help to ease the pain of the patients with physical exercise. There are many universities and colleges all over India and overseas that offers courses in Physiotherapy. Candidates who want to join the course in physiotherapy must appear for the entrance exams that are set by individual universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are appearing for this course must have finished their 10+2 class with Biology and Physics. They must also have studied Chemistry as a subject.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who aspire to join this course must have finished their Bachelors course in Physiotherapy from a recognized university or college. The students must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in their final exams.

Career prospects
Candidates who have finished their physiotherapy course can find many good career prospects. They can find employment in rehabilitation centers that are administered by the Central and State governments or by private bodies. In addition to this, Physiotherapists can also get jobs in Australia, Canada and the United States. Professionals in this field can also go for teaching jobs or as consultants. The initial salary of physiotherapists employed in Government hospitals will be approximately Rs. 3,000 - Rs. 5,000 per month. Private hospitals pay as much as 7,500 - Rs. 10,000 for each month. Professionals of this field can earn almost Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 40,000 for every month. Physiotherapists who are familiar in the field can establish their own clinics. They can make about Rs. 250 – Rs. 400 for each sitting.
