Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur
The Rajasthan Ayurveda University in Jodhpur is the 1st university of its own kind in Rajasthan and 2nd of this type in India. The University began in the year 2003 and now 44 colleges of Homeopathy, Ayurveda, and unani are affiliated to it. The University is currently teaching more than 7000 students. The University owns college of Ayurveda, Herbal Farming Centre, P training centre, and constituent DAN. The campus of the college is large and covers an area of 322 acres and is located in Kadward in Jodhpur on Nagaur highway and has proposals for building of Hospital, Herbal garden, farm etc. in it.
The University offers various courses at graduate, Post Graduate and PhD levels like PhD in Ayurveda, M.D. (homeopathy), B. Pharma (Ayurveda), Bachelor of homeopathic Surgery and medicine (B.H.M.S), Ayurveda course for allopathic doctors and many other courses. The University also offers Diploma courses like Diploma course for students in medical branch of Ayurveda etc. Various courses have different fee structures which can be obtained from the university website.
The University currently has an Administrative Block and a hospital. Proposal to construct, college building, Auditorium, Guest House, Pharmacy, and residential buildings have been sent to government. The University aims at providing quality education with all necessary comforts for students.
The students seeking admission in the Rajasthan Ayurveda University are required to fill an application form for the courses in which the student wants to apply. The form can be obtained from the University campus itself. The Students who are seeking admissions must fulfill eligibility criteria’s for various courses like to be eligible to enroll, the child of defense person must have secured at least 66% marks in the 10+2 examination and for other candidates like General and other candidates must have at least 71% marks. Reservation of seats will be as per the government rules.
