Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) was formed in 1958 for warehousing of agricultural products and other commodities. PSWC is India’s biggest state warehousing corporation that provides outstanding and total warehousing solutions to agriculturists through contemporary management techniques, inflexible financial management and strict administrative control. In 1993-94, PSWC was declared as one of the procuring agencies of the State Government. PSWC offers excellent services to the farmers by arranging rapid payments for their production on time.
Job Profile:
Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) invites application for the post of Godown Assistant.
No. of posts – 80
Pay Scale – Rs. 10300 -34800 + Rs. 3800 Grade pay + other Punjab Government allowances
Eligibility:
Age Criteria – Age criteria for the candidates to be able to apply to the post is between 18 and 37 years.
Educational Qualification – Candidates must be graduates in Agriculture or Science or Arts or commerce. At the matriculation level, candidates must have studied Punjabi either as main or optional subject. For complete details refer http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in.
Selection Process:

The candidates must send the printout of the filled online application, the demand draft of applicable amount, and other required enclosures to CDAC, Mohali.
Application Fee:
Banker Cheque/pay order/bank draft that is crossed for an amount of Rs. 500 (For General category), Rs. 250 (SC/ST) must be drawn in favor of managing Director, Punjab State warehousing Corporation, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh. There is no fee for ex-servicemen of Punjab.

The highest marks in paper for Technical Assistant in general category were 79..But although the paper(specially maths) for recruitments of godown assistants was much difficult than that was for technical assistant,still the highest marks in this exam are 82…..//Interesting…..isn’t that?

i call on MD’s phone No, when i asked about the reason for result of Godown assistant too late, she said in harsh language ” tuhanu ki laina is baare. sanu hor bathere kamm ne.” (!!!!!) & she put the reciver down with her full power.

Result for Godown Assistant has been declared. you can check the same on their official website and the counselling is on 28 February in Mohali.
